Orrery Three

2010 - reworked 2022, 23”h x 16”w x 8”d

The Orrery Three's main object for inspiration was a Searchlight arm given to me by a friend in 2009.

Listed below are the objects that are in the sculpture and where they were found:

• Earth globes from thrift stores. I keep a stock of sizes.

• Plexi-glass gears were given to me by a friend in 2008.

• Aluminum motor cover found in the trash in Lansdowne PA in 1995

• Shaft support, metal rods, steel plate and metal gears are from my general stock.

• Clock movements, purchased new.
